Untappd Spotlights Returns for Second Year, Celebrating Thousands of Local Favorites Across the U.S.

The annual recognition continues to shine a light on small businesses across the United States, boosting visibility, and connecting them with new customers

Next Glass and Untappd, the world’s largest platform for search and discovery and ratings and reviews of beer and beverages, are proud to announce the second annual Untappd Spotlights. Building off the success of last year’s inaugural campaign, Untappd Spotlights continues to recognize and celebrate Untappd Verified Venues that deliver exceptional guest experiences through exceptional food, beverage, and hospitality programs. This year, over 3,000 venues throughout the United States were recognized across nine categories, ranging from “Great Place for IPAs” to “Great Place for Events” and “Great Place for Beer & Wine.”

This is all about recognizing Untappd Verified Venues that go the extra mile to deliver unforgettable guest experiences. We look forward to helping even more people discover and support these amazing establishments.

This year’s Spotlights feature a diverse mix of local small businesses across the country—including breweries, restaurants, pizza shops, wine bars, whiskey lounges, and music venues—all recognized for their ability to create memorable guest experiences through Untappd for Business.

Untappd Spotlights are curated through Untappd’s data-driven approach, leveraging algorithms that analyze menu insights, community ratings and reviews, and subscriber activity. By shining a light on these local businesses, the campaign helps boost awareness, drive foot traffic, and strengthen the local communities they serve. Businesses that are selected as Spotlights are also prominently featured in the Untappd app, making it easy for users to discover top-rated spots in every category.

“We are thrilled to bring back Untappd Spotlights for a second year and continue celebrating the incredible local businesses that make our communities thrive,” said Molly Maguigan, Vice President of Customer Experience at Next Glass. “This is all about recognizing Untappd Verified Venues that go the extra mile to deliver unforgettable guest experiences. We look forward to helping even more people discover and support these amazing establishments.”
